So…we are back at school! And, that means the Kind Kids Club is back in action. And, boy are we starting out big. This Wednesday we are spreading the kindness through signs at school. Not just any signs, but signs made with love with materials donated by caring people from the community (thank you to all those who donated, you are making the world a nicer place!)
Over the weekend we had a group of people come together (students, parents, teachers) to make signs that we are able to pass out on 9/11. It was very encouraging to see other people doing kind things and helping out with a big project. We were able to work together and make 300 signs (whoa, that’s a lot of signs!!), plus 5 large signs to be delivered to schools in our area.
The plan is for the large signs to be signed by kids during their lunch period, and these signs will be displayed all year as a reminder to stay kind and treat people the way you would want to be treated. Please take a look at the pics to see the fun we had making our signs! And, maybe you could make some signs to pass out too!!
Things have been really exciting at our school! We quickly passed our original goal, and had to make a new shoe meter to measure the amount of shoes coming in for Soles4Souls. Everyone has been so kind, and the shoes just keep on coming! More and more everyday! Lets help as many people as we can! Click here for a video where our cousin was using her fabulous artistic ability to make our new shoe meter.
If you have been watching our videos, you probably already know that our kind kids club from school has been collecting shoes for Soles for Souls (if you have not seen, you can click here to fill you in!) We had a goal of 200, and we have our shoe meter made by our wonderful cousin Rachel to measure our progress. Well, guess what? Today we counted our shoes and we have collected 285 pairs!!! And we are only just beginning. We will keep you updated!!
So, we like to laugh…a lot. The picture here is Sawyer and
Kelsey making us laugh. They kept putting pretend mustaches
all over their faces, and talking in silly accents.
Now, that is funny! Even kindness can be silly. Sometimes,
making someone else laugh is the kindest thing you can do.
Speaking of funny, we came up with a few “kindness” jokes.
Let us know if you have some funny jokes!

We are back with some really exciting news! We talked to our principal this week and we are going to start a Kind Kids Club at our school. We have some really cool ideas, and we can’t wait to get more kids and teachers at our school involved. Our first meeting is this Thursday. We will be discussing our “Socks of Love” program for this year, and also talking about what our next big project that we want to accomplish. We will let you know how it goes on Thursday, and maybe you can start a Kind Kids Club at your school too!
